Departing by boat from Uvita, our Corcovado National Park Day Tour takes you to the San Pedrillo Ranger Station for an authentic rainforest adventure through primary forest, coastal trails, and one of Costa Rica’s most biodiverse wilderness areas.
The Corcovado Experience
After a safety briefing, we depart from Uvita Beach at 7:00 AM. The scenic boat ride to San Pedrillo takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with possible sightings of dolphins, sea turtles, seabirds, and seasonal humpback whales.
Your first guided hike lasts approximately 1.5–2 hours through primary rainforest and coastal areas. After a picnic-style lunch at the ranger station, a second hike of approximately one hour explores a trail with some uneven terrain. During the dry season, and when conditions allow, the route may include a refreshing stop near a small river.
Wildlife You May Encounter
Corcovado is home to monkeys, sloths, coatis, raccoons, tropical birds, insects, and many other rainforest species. Tapirs may also be encountered on a lucky day. Wildlife sightings vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.

Important Information
This tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers or children under six years old. Trails may be muddy during the rainy season from May to November and warm during the dry season from December to April. Expect roots, uneven sections, rain, humidity, and changing ocean conditions as part of this authentic wilderness experience.
