Departing directly from Uvita, our Caño Island Snorkeling Tour takes you to one of Costa Rica’s most remarkable marine destinations. Discover vibrant reefs, tropical fish, and diverse marine life, with the possibility of seeing dolphins or seasonal humpback whales during the boat ride.
The Caño Island Experience
The adventure begins with a scenic boat ride of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Uvita Beach. Along the way, our crew will watch for dolphins, sea turtles, seabirds, and seasonal humpback whales. Wildlife sightings vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
Upon arrival, our experienced crew will assess ocean conditions and select the best locations for visibility and safety. You will enjoy approximately two hours of guided snorkeling while discovering coral reefs, tropical fish, and other fascinating marine life.
Lunch and Beach Break
After snorkeling, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on the boat followed by a 30–40 minute break on one of the island’s beautiful beaches. Relax, take in the scenery, and prepare for the return journey to Uvita.
