Explore the Sierpe Mangroves
The tour begins in the town of Sierpe, approximately 40 minutes south of Uvita. Navigate a network of mangrove channels while your naturalist guide explains the importance of this productive ecosystem and helps locate wildlife along the riverbanks and forest canopy.
Birdwatching and Wildlife
Possible bird sightings include herons, kingfishers, flycatchers, owls, toucans, scarlet macaws, hawks, falcons, egrets, ibises, and colorful songbirds.
We also search for white-faced capuchin, howler, and squirrel monkeys, as well as sloths, raccoons, bats, iguanas, lizards, frogs, snakes, crocodiles, caimans, and turtles. Wildlife sightings vary naturally and cannot be guaranteed.
