Combination Tour ( Whale & Dolphin )

This tour offers a great opportunity to discover the marine wildlife of the Ballena Marine Park. During the trip you will see amazing landscapes including caves , the famous sandbar Whale’s tail and other beautiful rock formations.

If you love marine birds, there are lots of them flying and landing all around including frigate birds, pelicans, there is a chance also to go snorkeling depending on the season of the year or just go swimming in the warm water near some rocky places. If you visit us at the right time of the year you might have the chance of seeing Humpback Whales (January- late February , July- October), and dolphins all year round.

Whale seasons:

Northern Humpback Whales : Late December through late February attracts the Northern Hemisphere humpback whales to Costa Rica, as they’re migrating from the California and Washington state area.

Southern Humpback Whales : Mid July through the end of October is the best time to spot the majestic humpback whales, as the Southern Hemisphere humpback whales travel from Antarctica to the Marino Ballena National Park in Costa Rica to breed and raise their calves....
