The Terraba Kayaking tour begins in the village of Coronado, located 25 minutes south of our Uvita Beach operation center. This excursion explores the rich ecosystem of the Térraba-Sierpe wetlands via protected tributaries and mangroves.
Starting 90 minutes before high tide, we will discover more than five species of mangrove trees. The area is home to diverse wildlife, including American crocodiles, alligators, raccoons, hawks, monkeys, and various herons. Halfway through the tour, we will take a break in the mangrove swamp for a snack before continuing our journey.
